Yelken Yacht Club is located in the Turkmenbashi Awaza region along the coastline
of the Caspian Sea on a 360,000 m² land, housing a total of 44 villas and 13 apart
flats, and has a total accommodation capacity of 396 beds.
The components of the complex include Yacht Club, Sea Coral Restaurant,
Caspian Disco, Caspian Star Cafe, Sail Building, Windsurfing Building, Motor water
sport building, sports camp, children’s club, kids swimming pool and play areas,
sunbathing deck, a 525 meter long jetty, a couple of piers, along with a cafe market
and a 5235 m² boatyard where marina services are provided.
Sail Club Building houses a number of facilities including a restaurant with a seating
capacity of 150, an exclusive restaurant with a total of 100 seats, lobby lounge,
indoor swimming pool, Turkish bath, sauna, steam room, a SPA center where
massage services are offered, gym center, boutique cinema and gaming saloon.
Outdoor swimming pool is 2500 m² in size. Sailing, Windsurfing and motor water

design of the hotel takes into account the general layout of the city, with a structure

The construction of the Awaza Convention Center began in November 2012 in the
Awaza region of Turkmenistan and has been completed in 34 months. The Awaza
Convention Center sits on a total area of 130.000 m², including an indoor area of
49.692 m². The center has ten floors including the basement floor and will include
meeting halls of different sizes and functions in order to serve every kind of meeting
and event.
There is a 2.000-capacity conference hall, one banquet hall with a capacity for
500 people and another with a capacity for 300, as well as a 300-capacity press
conference hall. The convention center also includes a 200-capacity multipurpose
meeting room for heads of states, a hall for signing bilateral protocols, and a
meeting hall for government delegations.
Also included in the conference center are six small meeting rooms for use in events
varying in size from 30 to 100 people, a 100-capacity reception hall and five study
rooms for heads of state as well as special offices for the President of the Republic
of Turkmenistan.
In addition to the Congress Center, Sports Building is constructed over an area
of 12.096 m2. Sports Building includes an indoor pool, a multipurpose hall, a

Wedding Palace Building

Located in the south-west of Ashgabat, the Wedding Palace is a monumental
building, the first five floors of which have been built in the shape of a Turkmen
star upon which sit the remaining five floors, in a spherical structure, 32 meters
in diameter, surrounded by five further Turkmen stars. The surfaces of this glass
sphere, which was designed to represent the world, feature remarkable maps of
Turkmenistan made from titanium.
The building has a total of 11 floors, including the car parking level. Two of these
floors are mechanical floors and five floors for public use. On the ground floor of
the building there are two wedding halls, ach with a 500-person capacity, and
another wedding hall with a 1.000-person capacity, a hotel with 22 rooms including
10 suites, and a shopping center. The first floor has four wedding halls with a
100-person capacity, six wedding halls with a 150-person capacity, bridal chamber,
waiting rooms, two cafeterias and a foyer. The second floor hosts six dining halls
each with a capacity for 100 people and one dining hall with a capacity for 200.
The register office is located on the third floor, while the fourth floor is reserved for
other offices.
The sphere, the most glorious section of the building, has a foyer on the first floor, a
bridal chamber on the second floor, as well as the register office, marriage office and
wedding hall, known as the Baht Pavilion. The periphery of the complex features
cascading waterfall fountains and decorative plants.
Wedding Palace (Baht Pavilion) project was awarded the “Five Star” award in the
Public Architecture category in the 2012 European Property Awards.

As a part of the water intake structure, two tanks of 5.000m3 capacity are built.

91.100m HDPE potable water pipe line is constructed for the potable water to reach
from the seashore to “Guwlymayak-Kıyanlı” and “Turkmenbashy Airport” regions.
The diameter of the pipeline is 700 mm.

Turkmenbashi Desalination Plant

During the construction period, various construction management services had been successfully completed.
This water treatment facility, established on the east coast of the Caspian Sea to
supply drinking and utility water to the Turkmenbashi and Awaza Tourism Region,
has a production capacity of 35.000 m³/day of fresh water from 70.000 m³/day of
sea water, using reverse osmosis technology. The water is brought from 1,2 km
offshore, from a depth of approximately six or seven meters, through polyethylene
pipes 2x1000 mm in diameter. This water then undergoes a purification process at
the reverse osmosis facilities, which include three units with a capacity of 10.000 m³
and one unit with a capacity of 5.000 m³. Thanks to membrane technologies, these
facilities can maintain the dissolved salt in the seawater at a rate of 99%, and can
operate separately or simultaneously, depending on the level of water required.
The project includes material storage, an administrative building and a laboratory,
as well as a 22.900-meter pipeline installation and eight water storage tanks
